+Pavel Kovar is an Associate Professor of Radio Engineering and Radio Navigation at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
+His father was M.S. Vratislav Kovar, an aviation designer who developed radio navigation and communication instruments. In 1969 he patented "Variable frequency divider circuit wiring" that enables the design of a fully synthesised VHF Air Com transceiver LUN 3524.
+Since childhood, he was preparing for a career as an electronics developer.
+After graduating with a Ph.D., he worked for three years as a developer of aviation communication systems. He modernized the communication system for the Czech Army's MIG fighter. In 2000, he returned to the university as a teacher due to the poor situation in the industry and a health handicap.
+His father introduced him to mathematics, physics, and electronics from childhood. They developed various electronic devices at home. Since childhood, he has been preparing for an electronics designer career.
+After completing his doctorate, he worked for three years as a developer of aviation communication systems. He modernized the communication system for the MiG-21 fighter of the Czech Army. In 2000, due to the problematic situation in the industry in the Czech Republic in the late nineties and also due to a health handicap, he returned to the university as a teacher.
+All the time, he tries to combine theory with practice.
